What this site is

LSnow is a small streaming website. It's run by one person as a personal project, not by a company. There's no support team, no office, and no guarantee it'll be online tomorrow. If that matters for what you want to do, use a bigger site.

Channels are invite-only. You can watch and chat without one, but you need an invite to get a channel of your own.

Streaming here

Live video on LSnow comes from your own Twitch or YouTube account — you stream there, and this site shows the player on your channel page. That means:

  • Their rules apply too. Whatever Twitch or YouTube say you can't do, you can't do here either, because it's their servers carrying the video.
  • Their account is yours to manage. This site can't start, stop, or take down your stream. If something goes wrong with the video, that's between you and them.
  • What plays on your page is your responsibility. If you point your channel at a stream, you're vouching for what's in it.

What you can't put here

In a stream, in chat, in a video, or in your channel name and description:

  • Anything sexual involving anyone under 18, in any form, ever
  • Sexual content generally — this isn't that kind of site
  • Threats, harassment, or targeting someone to make their life worse
  • Slurs and hate aimed at people for who they are
  • Real violence, gore, or footage of people being hurt
  • Anything that helps someone hurt themselves or somebody else
  • Other people's copyrighted work — films, shows, whole songs, paid content
  • Other people's private information: addresses, phone numbers, real names they haven't shared
  • Malware, scams, phishing, or attempts to break the site
  • Pretending to be someone else

Two of these have no second chance: anything involving minors sexually, and credible threats against a real person. Those get the channel deleted immediately and reported to the platform and, where it applies, the police.

Your channel and your key

  • Your channel key is your password. Don't share it and don't show it on stream.
  • Anything done with your key is treated as done by you.
  • You keep the rights to what you make. Posting it here just lets this site show it.
  • Delete your videos whenever you like — the Delete button on a video is real.

Chat

Chat is public and is kept so people who arrive later can see what was said. Don't put anything in it you wouldn't want kept. Messages are rate-limited, some words are blocked outright, and messages can be removed.

If you break these rules

Depending on what happened: the message gets removed, the video gets removed, or the channel goes away. There's no formal appeals process — it's one person making a judgement call. If you think that call was wrong, say so and it'll get looked at again.

Things this site doesn't promise

  • That it'll be up. It's a personal project on free hosting.
  • That your videos are backed up. Keep your own copies.
  • That it'll exist next year.

Nothing here is a paid service, so nothing here is being sold to you. If the site loses your video, the honest answer is sorry, and that's all it can be.

Money

There isn't any. LSnow doesn't take payments, doesn't run ads, and doesn't sell anything. The Subscribe button is switched off on purpose — taking real money needs an account holder over 18 and tax paperwork behind it, so it stays off until that's sorted properly.

Age

Don't use this site if you're under 13. If you're under 18, check with a parent first — especially before streaming yourself live.

These terms can change

If the site gains something new, the rules for it get written down here. The date at the top tells you when it last changed.

Getting in touch

To report something, ask for an invite, or argue with a decision: contact the person who gave you your invite.

Written in plain English by the person who runs the site, not by a lawyer. It says what's actually true about how LSnow works and what's expected of people using it — it isn't legal advice, and it isn't a substitute for a solicitor if this ever grows into something bigger.
